I have just finished a biography by bestselling author Wilbur Smith. In the last chapter of his book “On Leopard Rock”, he gives some insight into how to become a published author. As other writers before him, Wilbur Smith underlines the importance of reading lots of books in order to improve one`s writing and to be inspired. I have read a myriad of books even before I became a writer – and I haven`t stopped since. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because people often ask me what I had been reading, I will give you some examples here. You will instantly realize that the choice of books is rather eclectic. I like biographies, adventure stories, memoirs, true crime, murder mysteries, police procedurals, domestic thrillers, marriage stories a.s.o.
