Crime Scenes

I would like to show you some of the existing places where things are happening in my new mystery thriller “Bay of Evil”. Let’s start with the harbour of L’ Anse aux Meadows on the northern tip of Newfoundland where you will find the statue of Leif Eriksson, the Viking leader who landed there a thousand years ago.

The Vikings erected a settlement and tourists can visit the replica sod houses where they lived.

In “Bay of Evil”, the tourists from the cruise ship are driven from L’ Anse aux Meadows to St. Anthony by bus. A tour guide on the bus sees something terrible happen.

These are the cliffs in St. Anthony near where a prominent archeology professor was last seen before he disappeared.
A bay in Gunners Cove where Detective Sergeant Calista Gates stumbled across the body of an unknown man.
A moose plays an major role in affecting actions in “Bay of Evil”. This is a cow moose.
The town of St. Anthony where Calista Gates is the police chief and where a young woman comes to the station because she feels threatened.
The rocky beach of St. Anthony Bight where a teenage tour guide attended a party with some shady people.
A red fishing shed that is common in these small communities and where scary things can happen (in mystery thrillers).
A fishing community named Noddy Bay near L’ Anse aux Meadows.
Me at the Norseman Restaurant in L’ Anse aux Meadows where Detective Calista Gates got a coffee while she was watching the cruise ship passengers at the harbour.
