Book Reading in Vancouver

My friend Rosa Stenberg and I are preparing the book table for my reading in Vancouver. I was invited by the German-Canadian Business Association and the night was also their New Year`s reception. I felt very honoured. I read from my mystery novel “The Stranger on the Ice” and I showed slides of my trip to the Polar Sea which inspired me to write this book. The Yukon Territory and the Northwest Territories are of special interest to the German Consulate in Vancouver because many German immigrants live there. The Consul General in Vancouver, Dr. Klaus Schmidt, came to the reading, too, which delighted all the guests. Thank you to the organizers for making this event so special!
